Cementless Tibial Foundation
Additively Manufactured Ti6Al4V Baseplate
The porous tibial baseplate is manufactured from Ti6Al4V using advanced 3D printing technology to create a fully interconnected porous lattice engineered to promote long-term biologic fixation
Anatomic, Asymmetric Geometry
Eight left and right–specific sizes are designed to maximize cortical coverage while minimizing overhang and soft tissue irritation
Bone-Preserving Broach-Only Keel
A punch-only keel preparation technique promotes immediate press-fit fixation while preserving subchondral bone. Multiple keel sizes allow surgeons to tailor fixation based on patient anatomy and bone quality.
Porous Femoral Component
The porous femoral component is fabricated from CoCrMo and offered in anatomic left and right configurations
Sintered Porous Coating Technology
The Freedom Porous Knee is a cementless, porous femoral option available in the Freedom Primary Knee System. The unique structure of the porous coating is developed through several layers of irregularly shaped CoCr beads for enhanced stability. The coating has greater average pore size and porosity to optimize bone-in growth, stability, and long-term fixation.
