Built on the clinical success of our Freedom Revision knee femoral component, the Freedom Primary PCK shares much of its geometry, including our patented trapezoidal femoral box. This design promotes the optimum size and shape for replicating femoral anatomy.
It also provides a varying constraint profile, from high constraint in extension to less constraint in flexion, without using a stem to violate the femur’s intramedullary (IM) canal. By preserving the integrity of the IM canal, you can help maintain the bone’s natural blood supply, an important factor in bone healing and overall health.
Should your patient experience future injuries or problems after their femoral component knee replacement, you still have the option to perform a revision that involves a stem.
The Freedom Primary PCK liner provides superior locking and stability while reducing locking tab stresses. Because it is sized up to 17mm thick, it will help a wide range of your patients regain optimal stability and function in their knees.
