Freedom® PCK Revision Knee System

Featuring our innovative, patented trapezoidal femoral box

Revision knee arthroplasty is a challenging orthopedic surgery, but the Freedom PCK Revision Knee System positions you for predictable, repeatable success.

This orthopedic implant’s innovative and proprietary design gives you maximum flexibility in meeting virtually any knee’s size and shape. Its reversible, stackable augments let you match replaced bone deficiencies with precision, while its low-profile baseplate conserves as much bone as possible.

The result? A revision total knee replacement yielding pain-free kinematics that last.

Overview

Orthopedic Implant Optimally Replicates Femoral Anatomy and Knee Function

Building on the clinical success of Maxx Orthopedics’ Freedom Knee, the Freedom PCK Revision Knee System promotes optimum size and shape for replicating both femoral anatomy and normal knee kinematics.
The Freedom PCK is designed with:

  • Tapered cemented femoral stem extensions for both the femur and tibia come in a variety of diameters to meet revision knee replacement patients’ specific morphometry.
  • Patented box of the Freedom PCK provides a varying constraint profile from high constraint in extension to less constraint in flexion.
  • Bone-conserving, low-profile tibial baseplate manages poor bone stock or severe deformities.
  • Reversible and stackable augments allow for a superior match to the replaced bone deficiencies.
  • 360-degree rotating femoral and tibial offset junction allows optimal canal filling and fixation.
  • Canal filling stems with spline and flute design provide immediate rigid fixation and resistance to torsional movements.
  • A flexible coronal slot provides a dynamic structure to address long-term endosteal bone changes.

Patented Trapezoidal Design Restores Patients’ Full Arc of Motion

The Freedom PCK trapezoidal femoral component provides a progressive variable constraint profile from high constraint in extension to less constraint in flexion. Revision total knee arthroplasty patients experience pain-free tensing and flexing in their knees thanks to this smoothly functioning and durable orthopedic implant. The design helps with the following:

  • Supporting internal/external rotation of 2°-7° and varus/valgus tilt of 1°-4°—high constraint in extension, less constraint in flexion, just like the natural knee.
  • Dampening transitional forces through the widest possible range of motion and minimizes tibial post wear, helping the prosthetic last longer.
  • Reproducing natural proprioception, so revision knee arthroplasty patients can pursue life without worrying about their knee forever.

Reversible, Stackable Augments Allow Surgical Flexibility

The Freedom PCK Revision Knee System includes a set of reversible and stackable augments that maximize your composite options while minimizing your need to store inventory. The system gives you the freedom to develop a fully customized approach to each of your patient’s needs, improving the outcome of the revision knee arthroplasty.
