The next event on Maxx Ortho’s calendar is the 35th International Society for Technology in Arthroplasty (ISTA) from August 28-31 in Nashville, Tenn. ISTA will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Conference Venue Nashville, Tennessee. The theme of this meeting is ‘Technology versus Technique in Arthroplasty Outcomes.’ Over 35 years, ISTA has emerged as the premier forum for the exchange of ideas and innovations in joint replacement technologies. Surgeons, engineers, marketing professionals, and business experts all converge at this esteemed event. Highlights from The Maxx 2024 International Anterior Hip Masters Course

In its continued commitment to educational excellence, Maxx Ortho recently held its 2024 International Anterior Hip Masters Course in Philadelphia from May 10th-11th.

Professionals meet at an orthopedic conference at the Venel Institute to discuss innovative orthopedic solutions. With a roster of esteemed surgeon faculty, it was the first ever international direct anterior hip masters course in the United States with a truly global presence. Attendees from all over the world engaged in exciting peer-to-peer symposiums, presentations, and live cadaver labs featuring our Libertas Hip Solutions.

Here’s a breakdown of the two-day event:

  • Day 1 – May 10th featured symposiums, case studies, and didactic presentations in addition to live and recorded surgeries at Valley Forge Casino Resort (King of Prussia, PA).
  • Day 2 – May 11th featured a cadaveric lab with six stations so attendees could enjoy hands-on learning and hear surgical tips and techniques from surgeon faculty at Venel Institute in Lehigh Valley (Bethlehem, PA).
